Workshop on Saturday, August 15 - Natural Cosmetics

This workshop co-led by Carole Beaulieu and Laurie-Anne Riendeau is an introduction to the art of formulating skincare products using medicinal plants. We will learn how to prepare plant macerates and explore oils, butters, and hydrosols, as well as the key properties sought in a homemade cream, toner, or protective oil.

We will also look at how to adapt each skincare product to your skin type. This workshop will help you identify plant allies for sensitive, dry, or reactive skin, and create a simple, plant-based routine using accessible ingredients.

Each participant will leave with their own handmade products. On site, you'll have the opportunity to discover medicinal plants in the garden, visit the large herb-drying facility, and explore the cultivation fields. A wonderful day outdoors, weather permitting!
